Basford
Westminster were contracted to replace the existing oil fired heating and hot water installation at NCN Basford Hall College.
The purpose of the upgrade was firstly to generate a reduction of the carbon footprint of the college campus, and secondly to reduce the installation operating and maintenance costs.
The college were looking to achieve a 10% reduction of its CO2 emissions (approx 570 tonnes per annum). The new boilers and hot water plant will save an estimated 30% of current emissions, a significant improvement on the targeted 10% reduction.
